The course BMDG 171 'Disability Society and Culture' ( Hindi- Divyangta Samaj aur Sanskriti) is being offered as an Interdisciplinary Course ( IDC) under FYUP from January 2025 session.
The qualification for Academic Counsellors is
' Masters degree in Social sciences/ Psychology/ Humanities/ Education/ Special Education with interest in disability studies'.
Therefore it is requested that Academic Counsellors portal be created for the same.
Existing Academic Counsellors from the relevant subject areas may be treated as approved counsellors for the course and submit their biodatas on the portal for approval by the school.
New applications for empanelment as Academic Counsellors may also be initiated.
The School will be happy to provide online counselling sessions in cooperation with the RCs and also conduct sessions on Gyan Darshan and Gyan Vani.
