Dear Sir/Madam,
It has come to the notice of Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) that some unscrupulous persons impersonating themselves as officers/officials of IGNOU are contacting Learners of IGNOU for making payment for Examination Fee, Issue of Duplicate Grade card and Degree, Transcript, Verification of certificates, Project & Practical Fees, Revaluation, Photocopy of Answer sheet etc., through personal emails or telephonic calls & other mode etc.
In this regard, as directed by the Competent Authority, a Public Advisory is being issued on behalf of Student Evaluation Division (SED) cautioning the students about such malicious and fraudulent activities.
All the Regional Centers are requested to prominently display this "Public Advisory" on their respective RC websites and take necessary steps to make the learners aware and be cautious about such emails / messages / phone calls etc.
