As you are aware, Web Conference sessions for the Appreciation Course on Environment (ACE) are conducted on every third wednesdays of March and September by the School of Sciences.
The Contact programme for learners of the January - March 2025 cycle of the Appreciation Course on Environment (ACE) is scheduled on 19th March 2025 from 11am to 2pm.
Details of the sessions are as follows:
ACE Web conference Session 1 - "Water-Resources, Distribution and Management in Sikkim"
Time: 11am to 12 Noon
In this session, Prof. Jaswant Sokhi, Pro Vice Chancellor, Sikkim Professional University will talk about water resources, its distribution and management and related aspects with specific reference to Sikkim.
ACE Web conference Session 2 - "Environmental Policies and Laws in India"
Time: 12 Noon to 1pm
In this session, Dr. Anoop Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Studies, Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh will introduce Environmental policies and laws with focus on India.
ACE Web conference Session 3 - “Environmental Education in Educational Institutions in India”
Time: 1pm to 2pm
In this session, Ms. Sakshi Uniyal, Programme Officer, Environment Education, CSE, New Delhi will give an overview of the Environmental education scenario in India.
